David G. Doney


From 1976 to 1979 David Doney practiced criminal law in the city of Toronto. Upon his return to Guelph he joined the law firm of Morrow, Nicholson and Doney and practiced in the same areas of concern until 1981. From that time until 2008 he was a partner in the partnership of Nicholson and Doney Law Firm. Since 2008, David Doney has worked as a sole practitioner. Since November of 1994, he has been a standing agent for the Attorney General of Canada, and currently continues to practice criminal law in all areas of criminal defense.
Mr. Doney has been active in a political party, both federally and provincially, an array of charitable boards including the YMCA, and is presently a member of the Royal Canadian Military Institute, the Glen Forest Hunt Club, the Galt Sportsmans Club, and the Criminal Lawyer’s Association.
